Happy Friday, and congrats on making it to the end of the week! If you follow us on Instagram, you’ve probably noticed that we’ve posted much more than usual this week. (Anyone who thinks Monday isn’t a good launch day has officially been proven wrong.) In fact, there was so much news that we had to carefully curate what we thought you would vibe with the most, and we hope you enjoyed our choices.
In case you missed it, we interviewed the one and only Pia Mance, founder of Heaven Mayhem, about their expansion into the watch category. Pia is a genius and a true creative visionary, and also simply an incredibly kind and generous person. In our interview, we covered everything about the launch - from the creative direction to the inspiration behind the pieces and more:
Heaven Mayhem aside, shout-out to Blake Lively for liking our post about Betty Buzz’s new canned mocktails. Fun fact: this is the SECOND photo of ours she has liked, so naturally, we’re telling ourselves she’s obsessed with PEOPLE BRANDS AND THINGS because that’s the only reasonable explanation. Anyway, Betty Buzz and Betty Booze have been up to cool stuff recently, from new flavor launches to a recent collaboration with Daniel Boulud. It’s clear Blake is deeply committed to building the brand, and we love to see it.
Now, onto today’s roundup - it’s a really good one. For our new readers, we’ll cover notable campaigns, launches, and partnerships, listed in that order, but otherwise, in no particular order. Here’s a sneak peek at the topics we’re discussing:
Brands across categories are expanding into new categories, from pimple patches to lip balms, apparel to hospitality, and more.
Why simple executions can sometimes be the most effective way to work with big-name talent.
Many brands are making big moves in the Hamptons, from branded Jitneys to events and influencer trips.
More indie brands are teaming up with legacy brands for collaborations, and we’re loving them.
Beauty brands are teaming up with fitness brands to co-host classes and activations for new launches.
Let us know in the comments if there’s a piece of news we missed that you love, or just one that you love, and also if there’s someone in particular you want us to interview. We appreciate the suggestions and feedback.
Now, onto the good stuff - happy reading!
